our story

The future of flossing starts after lunch.

Gfloss began with Pedro and Andy, a father and son team trying to solve a problem that felt surprisingly simple: traditional floss was not practical enough for real life.

Father and son founders presenting Gfloss hands-free dental floss at the Greater New York Dental Meeting.

It started with a real everyday problem.

For Pedro and Andy, food getting stuck between a back molar was more than annoying. It often led to discomfort, irritated gums, and inflammation.

Flossing after meals helped. The problem was that traditional floss was not practical enough to use throughout the day.

You need clean hands. You need a mirror. You need privacy. You need the right moment.

And when you are at work, traveling, in the car, or out after a meal, that moment usually does not happen.

So we started rethinking flossing.

The goal was not to make another floss pick. It was to create a more practical way to floss in the moments when traditional floss is easiest to skip.

What started as a personal need became sketches, prototypes, testing, manufacturing, and conversations with the dentists in our family, dental professionals, friends, and customers at dental shows.

Every step helped us refine the same idea: make flossing easier to start, easier to carry, and easier to repeat.

That idea became Gfloss.
